Brightlink, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a full-time Business Analyst provide business analytics, reporting and oversight of certain key aspects of our commercial operations. The position is located in our Atlanta, GA office.

Position Responsibilities:

 

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing network transactional data for commercial purposes that include product development and optimization, account reconciliations, rate verifications and database management functions. Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Maintaining customer and vendor call data record (“CDR”) databases

 

  • Manage customer portals by setting up login credentials, generating CDRs, and populating customer databases

 

  • Performing rate product analysis based on target guidance and other historical network metrics

 

  • Providing quality control and validation of rate products

 

  • Verifying customer accruals and coordinating with accounting teams for invoicing and other accounting reconciliations

 

  • Preparing network upload files and loading rates to multiple network elements

 

  • Process and monitor transactions relating to voice origination services business including number porting and cut-overs

 

  • Ability to work cross functionally as a consummate team player

 

  • Desire and aptitude to integrate into Brightlink’s team culture and processes

Position Requirements:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with strong evidence of academic success

 

  • Strong computer proficiency and discipline/experience using Microsoft Excel and/or other business analytical tools

 

  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, presence, and business acumen

 

  • Passion for continuously learning about new business opportunities and new technologies

 

  • Strong demonstration of mining, analytics, and database knowledge

 

  • Experience collaborating effectively within a team

 

  • Passion for continuously learning about new technology

 

  • Excellent communication skills to interact seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders

Key Relationships:

 

  • This position reports to the Director of Operations

 

  • Key stakeholders include all other members of the operations team

 

  • Close interaction and collaboration with senior account management team

 

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams including operations, accounting and vendor management
